(This is an actual photo of my dossier with the exception of 3 time sensitive documents, more photos of Alina's room, the house, backyard, nearby parks, zoo, children's museum (it was my idea to add pics of the parks, zoo, and museum) and the 2 new documents that Kaz required while I was gathering all this. Not only are there originals in here but 5 copies of each original document, authentication of notary, and apostille!)
Just got word today that my dossier is at the Kazakhstan Embassy!!! It should be there for 2 to 4 weeks and then on to Kazakhstan!!! My caseworker told me that the best estimate for traveling would be around August. I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS!! I'm still numb. I don't know what to think, say, or do. I really don't think it has sunk it yet or if it ever will. In just 4 very short months (I hope!) my life is going to change....forever!! I am really going to be a mother..mama...mommy! AGH!!!!!!!

Hooray!! I remember SO well that immense feeling of relief when I sent the completed Dossier off to my agency and--finally--I could say I had done all I needed to do at that point, and now it was in my agency's hands; and also how I really felt that when my Dossier was on its way, that's when I knew my adoption journey was truly moving forward.
